Our Best Answer - How do I get my SMC email account?

SMC Student Email

Once you apply to SMC, you will receive a welcome letter to the email address provided on the admission application.  It will give you instructions on how to activate your network account.  Once you do, an SMC STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS will automatically be created for you. It typically will be something like:

lastname_firstname@student.smc.edu.  

SMC uses GMAIL accounts, which you will be able to access directly through Corsair Connect, your student portal.

All official communication from the college will be sent to you through this email address so it is important that you check it frequently.
