Our Best Answer - Who should take the online orientation?

Who Needs the Online Orientation

All new students who plan to transfer or earn a degree or certificate from SMC should plan on taking the online orientation. Everyone is encouraged to go through it and can do so as a guest at any time.

Continuously enrolled students do not have to take the orientation. If you miss two major semesters (fall or spring) consecutively, you will need to reapply and take the orientation if it has been more than two years since you last attended SMC.
