Admissions Requirements for New Students

To attend SMC you must meet one of the following conditions.                                  

• 18 years of age or older; or
• Graduated from a regionally accredited high school; or
• 16 years of age possessing a "Student Score Report" or passing the California High School Proficiency Examination.

Requirements differ for High School Concurrent Enrollment and International Students.
